It\u2019s about how many people you can reach &#8211; and the beauty of this network is the ease with which your content can reach thousands of people. The downside is that it\u2019s easy for your message to get lost in the sea of information.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s where video comes in.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook has made giant strides with video, to the point where it is in direct competition with the hive of videos itself &#8211; YouTube. For CEO Mark Zuckerberg, video is going to be front and centre for the foreseeable future.&nbsp;<a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pcworld.com\/article\/2844852\/facebook-will-be-mostly-video-in-5-years-zuckerberg-says.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Back in 2014, he said<\/a>&nbsp;\u201c<em>In five years, most of Facebook will be video.<\/em>\u201d Three years later, his prophecy is almost fulfilled.<\/p>\n<p>Video posts can get a lot of exposure and so can reach a larger audience. The average video post generates&nbsp;<a class=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/www.socialbakers.com\/blog\/2367-native-facebook-videos-get-more-reach-than-any-other-type-of-post\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">135% greater organic reach<\/a>, when compared to photo posts. It shows your viewers a glimpse behind the scenes, making you, your company, and your product relatable. The best feature is, of course, the fact that you can answer your viewer\u2019s questions while you are live, and that it can be viewed as a regular video shortly after you end your stream.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrities in particular took to Live Streaming like ducks to water. They answer fan questions live, make announcements and show coveted glimpses into their private lives &#8211; and all this becomes fodder for the rest of us humans.
