Launching Real-World Skills: Hoor’s Internship Journey at Saba Consultants

At Saba Consultants, we believe internships should transform learning into doing. Just ask Hoor, a senior at the American University of Sharjah, who recently completed a 6-week internship with our team.

From Theory to Practice

Hoor arrived with technical foundations from university—and left having applied those skills in real-world contexts:

She produced influencer reports, drafted a TV-show concept, and helped manage brand
giveaways.

Behind the scenes, she researched influencers, filmed and edited reels for multiple
platforms, and worked on our podcast Ta7t El Hawa.

Her role included auditing episodes, updating podcast descriptions, SEO-optimizing content, pinning key comments, and designing Instagram stories.

“I actually used what I learned at uni,” she told us.
“And I gained new skills too—like CapCut, TikTok editing, SEO, podcast production.”

Connection Over Admin

Unlike many interns limited to data entry, Hoor worked shoulder-to-shoulder with our team—on real deliverables, with direct
mentorship, and creative autonomy.

“I felt heard, included, and empowered”

Empowering Young Women at Saba Consultants
